Privacy on the LordOS blog
Reading the blog needs no account. If you sign in to leave a heart or a review, the blog keeps only these five things about you:
- Full name
- Shown next to your reviews. You can change it in Profile.
- From the account you signed in with. Never shown to anyone; only the blog's administrator can see it, to contact you about your reviews.
- Phone
- Only if you type it in Profile. Never shown to anyone; only the administrator can see it.
- Avatar
- Your sign-in account's photo, or a picture you upload. Uploads are re-encoded to 256×256 and every metadata block (camera, GPS) is removed.
- Country
- Guessed once from your connection when you first sign in, so the form starts filled. You can change it.
Also kept with your account
The hearts and reviews you leave, the reviews you report, your role (reader or writer) and when you last signed in.
Never kept
No passwords (you sign in with your Google or Apple account), no birthday, address, location history or contacts, and no tracking cookies. The sign-in tokens stay in the memory of your browser tab and are gone when you close it.
Deleting it all
Open Profile and choose “Delete my account”. It removes your profile, hearts, reviews, reports and picture, and your sign-in account on the blog, at once.
